Parish News

We are refraining from the following:

  • Mass books/Hymn books not to be used
  • Holy water
  • Sign of Peace
  • Holy Communion from the Chalice
  • Those who choose to receive Holy Communion on the tongue should be encouraged to receive on the hand instead.  Their doing this represents an act of loving charity to their community.
  • There will be no basket collections.  A donations box will be in the porch for you to place your weekly offering in.
  • No refreshments after 10.30 Mass
  • No Wednesday Lunch Club

During this time please adhere to the following:

  • If you take a newsletter from the porch, or other leaflets, make sure you take them home and not return them in the tray.
  • Remember to use good hand washing and gel use technique.
  • Anyone with cold or flu symptoms are asked to refrain from attending Liturgy.
  • Most vulnerable parishioners are requested to refrain from attending Liturgy and to stay at home. (e.g. elderly, people with weakened immune systems and long term conditions like cancer, diabetes and heart disease).

Currently we have no more hand sanitizer available in the church.  Supplies are on order, but there are delays due to the high demand. In the meantime please bring your own.
